About

I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Computing of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) from 2021 to 2023, where I worked on a project entitled “An intelligent IIoT platform for factory monitoring” under the supervision of Prof. Juliana Freitag Borin. I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Informatics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) from 2019 to 2020, where I worked as a part of the “Future Internet for Smart Cities” FAPESP project under the supervision of Prof. Markus Endler.

I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNICAMP in 2019, for which I was advised by Prof. Edson Borin. My dissertation is related to the topics of Internet of Things (IoT), resource-constrained devices, and fog computing. I received a B.Sc. degree with honors in Computer Science from UNICAMP in 2014.

My research interests include Computer Science education, computational thinking, the use of technology in education, constrained devices, fog computing, the Internet of Things, smart cities, parallel computing, and high-performance computing.
